The Love of God is a basic to Christianity. It forms the foundation of our faith. The most famous and quoted verse of scripture is John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son…” The word Love appears 76 times in just the four Gospels! It must be important! We recommend reading Imagine The God of Heaven by John Burke for an amazing perspective on God’s love for us.
The concept of Prayer is also foundational to our faith. Even the most hardened atheist has been known to pray when it’s his last option. The Apostle Paul commanded us to “Pray without ceasing” in 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Prayer is so important that the word appears in the four gospels 58 times!
God must have thought the word Demon was important too. It appears in the four Gospels more frequently than Pray – at 66 times!
I was shocked to think I could live 6 decades of my life – over half of those as a committed Christian – and know so little about Demons. But it’s true!

Very insightful! I didn’t realize that demons were mentioned so often in the gospels!
I never thought about demons much until you mentioned them in one of our weekly bible study’s. Talking about how Hollywood movies depicts demons as floating in the air, head spinning around, foaming at the mouth making strange and scary voices while a pastor tries to cast out the demon. You mentioned that that they are much more subtle than that. I was fascinated by that interpretation and am looking forward to reading more about these demons in your book. Thank you for your words of knowledge and wisdom for me to meditate on. You are a true leader in Christ Kim!!!
