It’s In The Book!

  1. I believe the only unforgivable sin in the rejection of the Lord Jesus and His propitiation for our sins. We either believe and accept that gift as the only way to salvation or we don’t, it’s that simple.

  2. Scripture really does call us to wrestle with the whole counsel of God, not just the parts that feel comfortable or familiar.

Jesus never issued warnings casually—especially when it came to the Holy Spirit. That alone should cause us to pause, study deeply, and approach the topic with humility rather than fear or speculation. The goal isn’t confusion, but clarity that leads to reverence, repentance, and deeper relationship with the Father.

I appreciate how this points us back to the Word itself—“It’s in the Book”—and challenges believers to seek understanding rather than settle for assumptions. When we allow Scripture to interpret Scripture, we grow not only in knowledge, but in awe of God’s holiness, grace, and mercy.

These kinds of conversations, handled biblically and prayerfully, don’t weaken faith—they strengthen it. They help us walk more attentively with the Spirit, honoring His work in our lives and the truth He reveals.

Thank you for encouraging deeper study and thoughtful reflection. This is how we mature as followers of Christ.
