Or, does who you are define what you do?

What’s the most important thing you would like others to say about you?

What is the most important thing God says about you?

Our Heavenly Father is very protective of His Identity. He does a lot “for His name’s sake”. In the 23rd Psalm it says “He makes me walk the path of righteousness for His name’s sake”. In Ezekiel chapter 20 God said: “but I acted for the sake of My name.” And repeated it three more times in that chapter!

We are created in the image of God. Since God’s Identity is very important to Him, our Identity is very important to us.

The first thing Satan attacked in the garden was God’s Identity. His character is His Identity. Satan caused Eve to question God’s character.

Satan attacks our Identity relentlessly. He knows that our Identity is key to our Authority.
